Troubleshooting

In some cases, some devices randomly may sometimes require a different connection type to properly be read by a computer for data transfer. If you can't get the device to show up on Phonecheck, follow the instructions in the video below.

  1. The user must follow prior steps and ensure USB Debugging is enabled

  2. Once enabled, the user will swipe down from the top of the screen to reveal the notification menu and look for "Tap for other USB options"

  3. Once doing so, try the following options until the connection is made
    - MIDI
    - Transferring files
    - Transferring images

  4. You are now set to have the device appear on screen!
