Authorization Issue and Pairing iOS message

Apple device "Pairing iOS" and Android device "Authorization Issue" messages in Phonecheck, what they mean and how to resolve.

Apple iOS Devices

The "Pairing iOS..." message will appear in Phonecheck when the device is awaiting the user to perform authorization between the device and the computer, this is required for data transfer.

When the "Trust This Computer?" message is displayed on the iOS device, perform the following.

  1. Select "Trust" on the iOS device


Android Devices

The "Authorization issue" message will appear in Phonecheck when the device is awaiting the user to perform authorization between the device and the computer, this is required for data transfer.

When the "Allow USB debugging?" message is displayed on the Android device, perform the following.

  1. Select "Always allow from this computer" checkbox

  2. Select "Allow" or "OK" on the Android device


Troubleshoot

If you encounter an issue with the iOS device or the Android device not displaying any of the prompts on the device screen mentioned above, perform the following.

  • Restart the Android device or the iOS device and try again.

  • Verify you are using OEM cables.

  • Reset the iOS device or the Android device to its factory settings.

    NOTE: USB Debugging will need to be re-enabled on the Android device when the reset has been completed.
