Android Activation Skip and Auto USB Debugging - QR Code Method | Phonecheck Help Center

How to skip the activation on Android and automatically enable USB Debug on Android devices with a QR Code generated by Phonecheck.

 

Requirements:

  • Android Version 8 (Oreo) or higher on the device (Will not work on all devices)

  • Printer or PDF Viewer to view QR on the Desktop

  • Wi-Fi configured in Phonecheck Desktop Customization menu (case sensitive)

 

 


How to Enroll an Android Device Using QR Code Provisioning

  1. Open the “Device Operations” Menu
    In the Phonecheck desktop application, click on the Device Operations dropdown.

  2. Select “Provision QR Print”
    This will generate a QR code. You can either print it or leave it visible on your computer screen.

  3. Prepare the Android Device
    On the Android device’s activation screen, tap the screen 7 times.
    This will launch the device’s camera.

  4. Scan the QR Code
    Use the camera to scan the QR code that was generated in Step 2.

  5. Accept Prompts
    Follow the on-screen prompts and tap Accept when prompted.

  6. Choose Profile Type
    When asked, select “Use for Work Only” as the profile type.

  7. Complete Initial Setup
    Continue through the remaining setup screens until the device reaches the home screen.

  8. Connect to Phonecheck Desktop
    Plug the device into the computer running Phonecheck.

    USB Debuggi    ng should be prompted to be enabled, and the device will begin processing.
