Apple OEM Parts | Phonecheck Help Center
Original Equipment Manufacturer parts are checked upon connection for iOS devices to determine if parts are genuine.
Apple Parts Identification Process
When an Apple iOS device is connected to Phonecheck, our software automatically scans the device for Apple Parts and Service messages. In addition to Apple’s built-in checks, Phonecheck also performs a proprietary analysis to detect any previously identified non-genuine parts.
Understanding Apple OEM Part Statuses
Phonecheck desktop software displays one of the following statuses for each device:
-
Genuine – All internal components are original and have not been replaced.
-
Not Genuine – One or more components have been replaced, or Apple identifies a part as unknown or potentially non-genuine.
-
N/A – The device does not report complete part information, making it impossible to verify authenticity.
Where to Find the Apple OEM Parts Check
The Apple OEM Parts check is easily accessible from the device tile within the Phonecheck desktop interface.
Apple OEM Parts Summary Report
Clicking the OEM icon on the device tile will open a detailed Apple OEM Parts Summary Report, where users can review the authenticity and status of the device’s components.
All Apple parts data is securely stored in your Phonecheck Cloud database, alongside the other diagnostic results for easy access and reporting.
