User Guide - Apple Watch HUB method | Phonecheck Help Center

This article outlines the recommended hardware, operating system requirements, supported software version, and current feature set for Watch Hub

Recommended Hardware

Host System

  • Apple M‑series Mac

    • Apple Silicon-based Macs are required for optimal performance, stability, and compatibility.

Watch Hub

  • Watch Hub Device

    • Required to interface Apple Watches with the host system for testing, erasure, diagnostics, and reporting.

Cables

  • OEM Apple Cable

    • Only genuine Apple cables are recommended to ensure reliable connectivity, charging stability, and accurate diagnostics.

Note: Use of third-party or non-certified cables may result in intermittent connectivity, charging failures, or incomplete testing.

Operating System Requirements

  • macOS Tahoe 26.0 or higher

Important Compatibility Note

  • Apple Series 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11
  • Apple Series Ultra 1, 2, and 3

  • Apple Watch Ultra 2 & newer models are not supported on macOS 26.0.

  • For processing Apple Watch Ultra 2 or later, macOS 26.2 or higher is required.

Failure to meet this requirement may result in device detection issues, incomplete processing, or test failures.

Current Software Version

Ensure all processing stations are running this version (or later, if available) to maintain compatibility, performance, and feature parity.
