Providing TeamViewer Access for Remote Support

How to download the necessary program and allow permissions for Mac & Windows:

For Windows:

Provide ID and Password to the Support team

For Mac:

Mac requires additional permissions for complete remote access for TeamViewer

Screen Access and Access Control are both required to be granted in order for the user on the other end to have Remote Access and Remote Control

  • Look for the Review System Access window and select "Request Access" under the Screen Recording option

  • First, select the "Lock" icon

  • This will prompt you to enter your Admin Password

  • Once entered, select the "TeamViewer" option

  • If presented, select "Later" as the option

  • Look for the Review System Access window and select "Request Access" under the Accessibility option

  • Next, select the "Lock" icon

  • This will prompt you to enter your Admin Password

  • Once entered, select the "TeamViewer" option
