Guide for using Check ESN to check IMEI’s against carrier, iCloud, & Sim lock

Location: Cloud Portal > Check ESN

  1. Input the Device IMEI

  2. Select the Carrier you would like to check the IMEI against

  3. Select “Check ESN” button to start the checking process

Optional: Enabling the “Check All (with all carriers)” will automatically check the IMEI against the following: Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, & AT&T/ Blacklist

Check iCloud Lock Instructions

Location: Cloud Portal > Check ESN > “Enable” iCloud API (Apple Only)

  1. Input the Device IMEI

  2. Select the Carrier you would like to check the IMEI against

  3. Select “iCloud Only” under the carrier dropdown if you only want to check IMEI for iCloud lock status.

  4. Select “Check ESN” button to start the checking process

Note: iCloud Check requires additional licensing in addition to ESN licenses.

Check Apple Sim Lock Instructions

Location: Cloud Portal > Check ESN > “Enable” Apple Sim Lock Status only"

Result: Sim Lock status only provides the "Locked" or "Unlocked" status

  1. Input the Device IMEI

  2. Select the Carrier you would like to check the IMEI against

  3. Select “SimLock Only” under the carrier dropdown if you only want to check IMEI for Sim lock status.

  4. Select “Check ESN” button to start the checking process

Note: Sim Lock Check requires additional licensing in addition to ESN licenses.

Check Apple Carrier + Sim Lock Instructions

Location: Cloud Portal > Check ESN > “Enable” Apple Carrier + Sim Lock Status"

Result: Carrier + Sim Lock status provides the "Locked" or "Unlocked" status. While the Carrier info is an added bonus and isn’t always guaranteed to be available.

  1. Input the Device IMEI

  2. Select the Carrier you would like to check the IMEI against

  3. Select “CarrierLock Only” under the carrier dropdown if you only want to check IMEI for Sim lock status.

  4. Select “Check ESN” button to start the checking process

Note: Carrier + Sim Lock requires additional licensing in addition to ESN licenses.
