How to trouble a printer which isn't working

Note: If the Printer is not able to print from the computer, this will indicate that the printer will also not be able to print from Phonecheck.

How to Test Print on Mac:

  1. Click the Apple logo on the top left of your screen, and select system preferences

  2. Open “Printers and Scanners”

  3. Select the appropriate printer a click “Open Print Queue “

  4. On the menu on the top of the screen, press “Printer” Then “Print Test Page”

How To Test Print on Windows:

  1. Click the Start button, then click settings.

  2. Click “devices”

  3. Select “Printers and Scanners” on the left side of the window

  4. Select the Appropriate printer and click “Manage”

  5. Select “Print Test page

Printer and Label setup within Phonecheck

  1. Click the “Configuration” button on the left menu of Phonecheck Desktop

  2. Once in Configuration settings on the top menu, select “Printer Settings”

  3. Make sure that the “Default Printer” drop-down is set to your label printer desired.

  4. Set “Default Label 1” as your desired label to print. 

  5. “Default Label 2” is OPTIONAL. Selecting a label in this field will print out the second label of your choosing.

Setting the "Barcode and graphics" in the DYMO Label Software.

1. Open the DYMO Label App.

2. Do one of the following:

•For Windows, choose Preferences from the Edit menu.

•For Mac, choose Preferences from the DYMO Label menu.

3. Select the LabelWriter printer tab.

4. Select Barcode and graphics.

5. Click OK to close the Preferences dialog box and apply your changes.
