How To Disable Automatic Macos Operating System Software Updates

Click the Apple logo on the top left of your menu bar and select System Preferences.

Click on the Software Update icon.

To disable all automatic updates, uncheck the box next to Automatically keep my Mac up to date.

1. Click the Apple logo on the top left of your menu bar and select System Preferences.
2. Click on the Software Update icon.
3. To disable all automatic updates, uncheck the box next to Automatically keep my Mac up to date.
4. Click on the Advanced button.
5. Uncheck all boxes.
6. Press OK.
